What happens when rent is late
Lotly can charge a late fee automatically and show you who is behind. Everything after that is your decision.

If the lease has a late fee policy, the fee is added automatically once the grace period passes.

The tenant appears on the past due report, under Office → Reports.

Lotly does not chase them for you. Sending a reminder, serving a notice or starting an eviction are all things you choose to do.
Late fee amounts and grace periods are limited by law in some states. Check your rules before setting one.
