How rent money actually reaches you
Rent does not jump straight into your account. Knowing the path explains most "where is my money" questions.

The tenant pays in the tenant portal, by card or bank.

The payment shows as Pending while it clears. Bank payments take longer than cards.
Pending is normal. It does not mean anything has gone wrong.

When it clears it becomes Completed. That is the point at which the money is real.

It is then paid out to the bank account you connected. No connected bank means nothing can pay out.
This is why connecting a bank is the first step of setting up rent payments.
That’s it. If money has not arrived, check the status first, then the connected bank.
