Aging (Delinquency Aging)

A breakdown of unpaid rent by how long it has been overdue.

An aging report sorts each delinquent rent balance into buckets based on how many days past due the balance is. Standard buckets are 0–30, 31–60, 61–90, and 90+ days. The aging report tells operators not just how much rent is unpaid (one number, easily missed) but how that unpaid rent is distributed across timeframes (a richer signal). A park where most delinquent rent is in the 0–30 bucket is very different from a park where most delinquent rent is over 90 days; the first is a temporary blip, the second is a structural collections problem.
